Visual CommunicationsIn our Visual Communications program, students are introduced to the concept of design as a means of communication and visual persuasion. Course content deals with a variety of design problems related to the community, society, industry, marketing and advertising. Particular attention is given to the development of a well-rounded, quality portfolio for students to use to obtain future college credit or scholarships. Students are also introduced to career options for graphic designers which include advertising agencies, art studios, corporate art departments, television, publication design and packaging design. We also emphasize digital citizenship with appropriate use of technology.
