Seventh grade student's enjoyed painting their winter snowmen.
"Snowflakes are one of nature's most fragile things, but just look what they can do when they sick together." - Vesta M.Kelly 7th grade art class learning to blend acrylic paints turned out so nice. They made a three color blend on their canvas panel background, then painted the subject of pumpkins, leaves, etc.Middle students had fun making designer owls using the medium of oil pastels. They allows the colors to be bold and blended. Simple paper collage was added for the environment. 3D O's foam glue dots were used to make the owl come away from the paper, it does not reflect in the photo.Final projects of self portraits using our iPads turned out so neat! We used several apps including Sketchbook Express, Art Set, Sketches, and Art n Trace.
Students were asked to create a character from three columns of four types of environments, characteristics, and physical additions. Choosing one from each column. They could combine using their iPad Pro and Pro-Create app or the computer Wacom Pen Tablet and Photoshop.
